What’s in your brush box?
Every horse owner likely has more than a few brushes, but a
couple of key favorites. I know I do.
What do you reach for first, when you grab a brush to polish
your horse?
Once I’ve used the shedder blade and the rubber curry comb,
I usually pick one of these special brushes to finish grooming my horse.
- Oster Equine Care Series Grooming Brush with Stiff Bristles
- Intrepid International Nifty Horse Brush with Hand Strap
I like the Wahl Professional Equine Face Brush and Equi-Woodback Natural Face Brush too, as they’re somewhat
gentler.
For mane and tail, my current top pick is the Oster Equine Care Series Mane & Tail Brush. I like the
grippy handle.
Maybe it’s time for me to clean those brushes and leave them
in the sun to dry.

Hi there, found your blog through the A to Z challenge list, and I'm so glad I did.
ReplyDeleteRight now, my go to brushes are, in order, shedding blade, curry comb, dandy brush, then my lovely flick brush. Pony is moulting like a beast at the moment....next year I'm going to clip him for sure!
