Minis and Whinnies –
Limericking Courses on Tiny Horses

The miniature horses are cute.
They pull carts and wagons to boot.
For folks great and small,
The minis enthrall
With darlingness most absolute.

A horse may be tiny or tall,
While ponies aren’t horses at all.
Though some are confused,
Or merely bemused,
Small horses fit two to a stall.

And here is what puzzles us so
Attending each horse driving show:
The minis are strong
To pull carts along,
When judges say, “Ready, set go.”

  1. Those are fun little limericks! What a fun ride on the Poetry Train today; thanks.

  2. Those ponies are really cute!!
As compared to full sized horses, they look really graceful in their petite sizes.

  3. Just love this line:

    'With darlingness most absolute.'

If those minis don't fit that bill, I don't know what could.

  4. oh my! i will have to share this with my 4 year old!

  5. lovely small horses, they're so sweet!
