Yes! My little half-Arabian sporthorse (our first foal) and I have just enjoyed our first ride together. Although it was a fairly short trip, it was successful. Tomorrow we will try it again!
"Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated." Confucius Ancient Chinese Philosopher (551 BC – 479 BC)
"Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with a flowing mane?" (Job 39:19, NIV)
Three years ago, he hit the ground.
I marveled at the wonder found.
This boy bewitched me from the start,
One shake of mane: he held my heart.
While waiting, cherishing his glow.
I’d write of riding him one day,
And worry free, we’d run away.
I cultivated horsemanship.
A three-year lapse dragged slowly by
Until the day when we would fly.
And cued him softly on the track.
We jogged one way, then back again,
A traveled pair at last. Amen!
