I have seen this before - of "Men Doing Dressage" . . . maybe you have too. But it still tickles me.
Although I enjoy dressage - both riding and viewing - I found this amusing. Despite the usual masculine aversion to full-seat white lycra breeches, men may actually ride dressage proficiently. Many men do dressage quite well, often mounted upon their tall thoroughbreds or fancy imported Warmbloods. Historically, male riders have proven their mettle in the dressage arena, clad in sleek shadbellies with their traditional top hats.
Still . . .
Enjoy "Men Doing Dressage."

Personally, I'd like to interview the equine spectator at the end. How would he rate the performance?
Do you ever feed treats to your horse by hand? Do you allow others to hand-feed treats to your horse?
This week, a teen at our barn was injured, while feeding a corn cob to her horse. Her docile grey Quarab (Quarter Horse x Arabian) began to choke on the corn cob, so she reached into his mouth to grab it. The horse bit down on the corn cob and his young owner’s hand, nearly severing one of her fingers.
A simple horse snack became a quick trip to the emergency room, where her broken finger was sewn up and splinted.

Immediately, a barn-wide alert was issued, urging equestrians and visitors to feed treats in horse buckets only.
This is a warning much needed and well heeded.

Although it may seem like fun to hand a carrot, a peppermint, a sugar cube, a ginger snap or an apple core to a beloved horse, the safer practice is simply to drop the snack into his bucket.

I'm not sure who took this photo, but I love it. Does Michelle Duggar know about this horse? It appears the equine has rhythm, even if the Duggars do not seem to.
This vehicle appears to be operated by horsepower. However, at the same time, it may also be the ideal transportation system for a horse that refuses to climb into the dreaded dark box.
. . . Not that we are mentioning any names here . . .
