El Santo (The Saint) –

Saddled with Responsibility

The guardian I trust the most,

Beatified from coast to coast,

May poke his nose in everything,

While babysitting in the ring.

He has been known to tell a tale,

To shoot the breeze and bring the mail.

If children wander out of bounds,

He’ll holler his unearthly sounds.

To dictate discipline, he’ll call.

To balance battles, save a fall,

This tattletale is right on course,

Because he is a saintly horse.
