Milwaukee
equestrian Brooke Pape knows more than a bit about blingy bridles. As owner of Oko
Konia Artisan Browbands, she creates custom designs for horse lovers in
multiple equestrian disciplines.
Each browband is
constructed of leather and adorned with crystal, rhinestone, or other jeweled
accents. Prices range from $75 to about $200 for the one-of-a-kind browband pieces.
Oko Konia, which
is Polish for “The Horse’s Eye,” also offers bridle charms, braid rings, and
memorial horse mane and tail jewelry to honor horses that have passed away.
